Hate the coach

In response to a series of bad decisions made by former NY Knicks coach Isiah Thomas in 2007, I hand-printed t-shirts allowing fans to express their disapproval. After selling 250 shirts outside of Madison Square Garden over the course of three games, I was unexpectedly arrested (link).

Press

ESPN Radio Interview

ESPN "You have the right ... to remain a fan."

ABC-7 "A grass-roots and court-side campaign to get Thomas fired."

SLAM "A shirt for all Knicks fans."

Daily News "Student arrested for 'Fire Isaiah' tees."

After receiving a good amount of news coverage, I created an online store through which hundreds of more shirts were sold. The charge against me was later dropped and I was awarded a (small) court settlement for the false arrest. :)

Knicks legend Walt "Clyde" Frazier signed the shirt at one point.
